A SIRIUS ENCOUNTER

BOOK 2

The Queen And Her Court ©

When the Nephilim were cast out of the heavens, a precedent was set that is still in effect to this day. Darkness came into being, and it separated itself from the Light. The Nephilim had to have the Light to survive and since their tie to the great source of Light was gone, they have sought to control those who still have it. This story is about some of the events that have taken place in our universe up to our present day.

A truth exists in and in between the lines of A Sirius Encounter. Where the light exists, so does darkness. One prevails while the other fights to prevail. Those of the light seek to do what is right. Those of the darkness seek to take that of the light. Different paths are walked by all, and on which path one finds oneself can very well determine in which direction he is headed.

Light when placed in a spectroscope shows all of the colors that exist in the color spectrum. Darkness reflects no light at all. It absorbs all colors. Without light its intake becomes nothing and it cannot exist.

Light comes from the one who created it. To those of the light, light is freely given, and they are expected to protect it. If they did not, then it would be stolen by those who did not have light and used for their gain.

Many names have been given to those of the light and those of the darkness. Whatever you choose to call them the fact is that they do exist. Down through the ages they have come to our present day and beyond.

The Sirian Blue Eagle spaceship was in orbit above outpost station No.16. Preparations were being made for the journey to the planet Maldek. Most of the equipment they had brought with then to outpost station No.16, was being left for monitoring purposes. The rest was being brought back aboard the spaceship by the small space taxis.

Captain Ron John was having his final briefing with those who had been involved the most with the Nephilim.

The twins, Jim and Jay Dussart, Lieutenant Ball, Sergeant Stevens, Sergeants First Class Mike James and Rex Lazier were gathered around the conference table in the captain’s cabin. Captain Ron John had just finished his briefing and there was a kind of sadness about it all. The time had come for the departure of the Blue Eagle. There was a shadow of sadness on their faces, but inside they were starting to get excited. Even though some would stay behind on outpost station No.16, the satisfaction that something was going to be done about the Nephilim gave them peace of mind.

"Lieutenant," the captain said. "I will be leaving some of my men here with you to operate the equipment we're leaving. I would like to ask a favor".

"Yes, Sir", the lieutenant. replied.

"I would like for Mike and Rex to be assigned to the Blue Eagle crew," he said looking at the two men.

"Oh?" the lieutenant responded to the request.

"Yes," the captain continued. "They have had closer contact with those from Maldek than any of my men. I feel they would be a great asset to our overall battle with the Nephilim. When we encounter them again we'll need them. They have proven themselves in their dedication to overcoming the dark ones".

The lieutenant thought about it, then replied. "That sounds like a good idea, Captain. I'll have the paperwork done to assign them to your crew. I'm sure they'll do an outstanding job for you, Sir. I'd say that they have earned the assignment that you offer them now. I'll also get the paperwork completed on the personnel that you're assigning to my outpost station".

"Thank you, Lieutenant." He turned to Mike and Rex. "What do you two think about it? Of course you don’t have too much to say about it, now do you."

Mike and Rex were all grins. They surely had earned the right to be a part of the Blue Eagle's crew. That was a great honor. To also be a part of the team that would be involved in the Maldek adventure was even better. In fact it was the greatest thing that had happened in their military career.

"Sir," Mike said, "Rex and I have been down a lot of roads together. I believe I can say for both of us, that this is the best one that we've traveled so far. I am sure I speak for Rex when I say we consider it a privilege to be one of your crew, Captain, and we thank you for choosing us."

"I agree, Captain," Rex said. "I thank you for the trust you’ve put in us. We'll do our best to not let anyone down in any way".

"Good," the captain replied. "It's time for all of us to get up to the Blue Eagle. There's still a lot to do, and much planning lies ahead. We’re leaving your station, Lieutenant, knowing that it is in the very best of hands. All of us from Sirius are proud to have you as its commander. We will see you on our way back if at all possible. Thank you also Sergeant Stevens for all you have done for us."

Captain Ron John stood up. The lieutenant and sergeant saluted him and he and his crew left and headed for the taxi-port. The air seemed to tingle about them as they prepared to leave. It felt good to be on the go again. The unknown that lay before them was a challenge.
